Product Overview
CLECs, ILECs and ISPs use the Sentry 4820 to manage equipment in remote sites, co-location facilities and Telco central offices. The Sentry 4820 eliminates the need to dispatch a field service technician for manual intervention when devices lock-up. Using a Sentry 4820, the network operations center can quickly restart locked-up remote internetworking devices to ensure that the network is fully operational around the clock.
- Two 60 to 100 Amp power input feeds support dual power supply networking equipment units
- (4) 20 Amp power outlet circuits
- 25 Amp circuit breakers protect each power outlet circuit
- Space-efficient 19" 2U rack-mounted unit eliminates the need for a separate power distribution panel
- Typically used with data communications and telecom equipment units, including: routers, DSLAMs, ATM switches and DC-powered servers
- Pull-to-break/Push-to-reset circuit breakers may be used as on-site on/off power switch
- NEBS compliant
- Sentry XL Models include Load Sense, On Sense & Temperature Sense, and a LAN Interface that supports SNMP traps
- Always-on Architecture eliminates single points of failure
