The RPC-4840N Remote DC Power Control Switch gives you the ability to perform this function from anywhere; just Telnet to the IP address of any RPC-4840N unit, enter the secure user name and password, and you're ready to issue On, Off or Reboot commands!
Convenient User Interface
The RPC-4840N features a user-friendly Command Line Interface, consisting of a series of ASCII menus which allow you to configure and operate the RPC-4840N via telnet over TCP/IP network, via external modem connection or via local PC using a terminal program such as Hyperterminal or TeraTerm.
Security
Access to command mode is password protected to prevent unauthorized users from invoking sensitive switching and configuration functions. IP Address filtering allows you to automatically reject all connections from a user-defined range of IP addresses, or limit Telnet access to only the IP addresses that you select.
Easy to Configure, Easy to Use
The RPC-4840N features two different levels of operational passwords: the System Administrator Level and the User Level. The System Level provides access to all configuration and switching functions, while the User Level is limited to switching functions only.
Easy-to-use commands allow you to assign circuit names, set system parameters and view circuit status. Circuits can be switched On, Off or Rebooted using circuit numbers or names. When circuits are switched or rebooted, boot delay times allow you to determine how much time will elapse between each switching or reboot operation.
